Product overview

Performance and application overview.

AL-1 Calcium Aluminate Inorganic Anti-Corrosion Mortar is engineered for long-term protection of concrete infrastructure in highly corrosive and chemical-laden environments. Featuring a 100% calcium aluminate composition—binder and aggregate—it resists biogenic sulfur attack, acid exposure, and harsh industrial conditions. Ideal for wastewater treatment facilities, chemical storage zones, and underground structural repair.

Pure Calcium Aluminate Composition for Reliable Corrosion Protection: AL-1 is made from high-purity fully inorganic materials, primarily calcium aluminate, delivering strong resistance to acid and alkali corrosion while keeping solid mechanical performance for lasting stability in tough environments.

High-Strength Design with Over 50MPa Compressive Strength: Built to hit at least 50MPa in compression, it's perfect for shielding wastewater plants, sewers, chemical lines, dams, and industrial sites from sulfuric acid and aggressive chemicals.

Quick Set-Up to Minimize Downtime: Fast curing speeds up projects by cutting interruptions, plus it bonds tightly to surfaces for better overall toughness and longevity.

No Harmful Additives, Safe Around Reinforcements: Without chlorides or silica that could harm steel, it's great for new builds or fixes on manholes, pump stations, reservoirs, and storage tanks, forming a sturdy, leak-proof layer.

Versatile Spray or Trowel Application for Any Job: Easy to spray or trowel on, it handles tight spots or big areas with ease, shining in harsh conditions thanks to its calcium aluminate core and boosting structure life.

Product usage

Application and installation guidance.

Surface Preparation: Ensure the base is level, rough, clean, free of oil and dust. Rinse with high-pressure water to dampen without standing water, then brush on YJ-302 interface agent for strong adhesion.

Mixing: Pour 90% of the needed water into the powder and stir until smooth, then add the last 10% gradually to avoid lumps. Finish using the mix within 30-60 minutes.

Application: Apply YJ-302 interface agent (3:1 ratio) evenly on the damp base. Tackle areas up to 10 sqm at a time, spacing sections by at least 24 hours. Use spray or trowel methods for application—press flat right away and avoid over-troweling. For vertical or overhead spots thicker than 10mm, layer in 5-10mm coats, letting each dry to the touch before the next.

Curing: After surface dries, mist with water or cover with wet burlap or sacks, keeping temps above 5°C. Wrap in plastic after 24 hours for 7 days of moist curing, adding occasional water sprays if you can.
